Start in Marrakech, then cross the High Atlas to explore Ouarzazate and the palm-filled Draa Valley on your way to Zagora and the Sahara village of M’hamid. Continue through desert tracks and Berber landscapes to reach Tafraoute, known for its stunning granite mountains.

From the Anti-Atlas, travel toward the Atlantic coast, relaxing in Agadir, then continue along the ocean to the charming seaside town of Essaouira. Your journey ends back in Marrakech, after discovering Morocco’s mountains, dunes, and oceans in one unforgettable trip.

Day 01 :

Marrakech – Telouet – Ait Ben Haddou– Ouarzazate

Depart from Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit Telouet Kasbah,and have a lunch, then continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight.

Day 02 :

Ouarzazate – Tamenougalte Kasbah – Zagora

Following breakfast, travel deeper into the Draa Valley, pausing for a guided visit of Tamnougalt Kasbah, then continue through palm oases on your way to Zagora where you can stop by the famous “Tombouctou 52 Days” sign before spending the night.

Day 03 :

Zagora – Tamegroute – M’hamid – Acacia Forest Lunch – Chegaga (Camp)

Depart Zagora toward the green oasis of Tamegroute, famous for its ancient Quranic library and traditional pottery workshops.
Continue to the dunes of Chegaga, stopping for lunch in a desert location known for ostrich sightings.
Arrive at Erg Chegaga, the largest dune field in Morocco. Enjoy a camel ride, breathtaking silence, and golden dunes.
Capture unforgettable sunset photos before a traditional dinner and overnight stay in a luxury desert camp.

Day 04 :

Chegaga – Lake Iriki – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Taliouine – Taroudant

Drive across the expansive desert, passing the dried expanse of Lake Iriki en route to Foum Zguid. Continue to Taznakht, renowned for its traditional Berber carpets, and visit a saffron cooperative in Taliouine before reaching Taroudant for an overnight stay.

Day 05 :

Taroudant – Agadir (grains store) – Tafraoute

After leaving Taroudant, drive toward Agadir, a bustling town known for its markets where grains, spices, and fresh produce are stored and traded. After exploring the local sights, continue the journey inland toward Tafraoute, nestled among the stunning pink granite mountains of the Anti-Atlas.

Day 06 :

Tafraoute – Berber Villages – Kasbahs – Painted Rocks

Take a guided tour of Tafraoute, exploring traditional Berber villages, historic kasbahs, and the scenic Oued Ammelne Tafraoute. Before sunset, visit the iconic Painted Rocks, a surreal open-air art installation set amidst the stunning pink granite mountains. Overnight in Tafraoute.

Day 07 :

Ait Mansour Gorges – Tiznit – Aglou Beach

After breakfast, depart Tafraoute and drive through the breathtaking Ait Mansour Gorges, known for its dramatic cliffs and palm-filled valleys. Continue south to Tiznit, famous for its silver jewelry and traditional crafts. In the afternoon, relax at the serene Aglou Beach, enjoying the Atlantic coastline before heading to your overnight destination.

Day 08 :

Aglou – Agadir – Taghazout – Essaouira

Head to Agadir for coffee along the beachfront corniche and visit Agadir Oufella Kasbah. Enjoy lunch in Taghazout, then continue up the coast to Essaouira for overnight.

Day 09 :

Free Day in Essaouira

A relaxing free day to explore Essaouira at your own pace: the Medina, port, Skala, beaches, or enjoy seafood restaurants.

Day 10 :

Essaouira – Return to Marrakech

After breakfast, drive back to Marrakech. End of the tour.
